The Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians is here to support you, as a student, through your residency, as a new physician and throughout your Family Medicine career. Through conferences, scholarships and leadership opportunities, the NAFP helps students of Family Medicine access the resources they need while in medical school. As a member of NAFP, students have the opportunity to participate in NAFP activities; network with the family physician community; and receive NAFP publications. In addition, leadership opportunities for students exist to get involved in NAFP and the AAFP.

Leadership in the American Academy of Family Physicians

Elected and Appointed Leadership Positions
The American Academy of Family Physicians highly values the contributions made by family medicine residents and medical students and recognizes the importance of training future leaders of medicine. AAFP National Conference for Family Medicine Residents and Students
